Raytheon Missiles & Defense president Wes Kremer, who lived in Tucson, Arizona, is said to have passed away. Wes Kremer’s cause of death and its circumstances have not been made public. His death has not been confirmed by an official declaration as of the time of writing.
Wesley D. Kremer was the head of Raytheon Missiles & Defense, a branch of Raytheon Technologies. He manages 31,000 employees and is responsible for a variety of cutting-edge defense technologies, including air and missile defense systems, radars, accurate weaponry, and command and control systems.
Kremer was an electrical engineer with decades of leadership experience in the aerospace and defense sectors, and he was a member of the U.S. Air Force.
He held several managerial positions before Raytheon Company merged with United Technologies Corporation in 2020, including as the head of the company’s Raytheon Missile Systems and Integrated Defense Systems divisions.
As a weapon systems officer on F-111 and F-15E aircraft in the U.S. Air Force, he flew more than 90 combat missions in Bosnia and Iraq. He earned an electrical engineering bachelor’s degree from Montana State University and an engineering technology management master’s degree from City University of Seattle.
