NORTH CAROLINA (PINPOINT WEATHER) — After all the wet weather cloud cover over the past few days we are finally getting some sunshine with some chilly temperatures Friday afternoon with highs around 50.
Heading into the weekend we are tracking more active weather with scattered showers moving in starting Saturday with a possible brief period of mixing up in the mountains before changing to rain.
Temperatures Sunday will stay in the 40s before rapidly warming temperatures move in for Sunday.
There is some potential for strong storms Sunday morning as the front moves through with highs in the 60s.
Following the front, much cooler temperatures will move in for next week with possible wintry weather on the way for Thursday with a developing storm that we will watch closely.
