Xavier Colvert Obituary, Death;- Birmingham Police have announced the arrest of an individual in relation to a homicide that took place in January 2025.
Authorities report that 25-year-old Kathrine Brown was apprehended on Monday, February 24, in connection with the death of 22-year-old Xavier Colvert, which occurred on Friday, January 31.
The arrest was made by Birmingham Police’s crime reduction team in collaboration with U.S. Marshals, who took Brown into custody in the 500 block of Avenue O, located in the Green Acres neighborhood. Currently, Brown is being held at the Jefferson County Jail without bond.
