With profound sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Timothy F. Lundy, age 60, of Tiffin, Ohio, who peacefully passed away on Monday, July 28, 2025, at Mercy Health – Tiffin Hospital, surrounded by his loved ones and the comfort of familiar faces.

    What Happened

Timothy was born and raised in Tiffin, Ohio, and he proudly called this community home throughout his entire life. A 1983 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School, Tim built lifelong friendships that became the foundation for a life grounded in loyalty, quiet strength, and a deeply personal sense of integrity.

Tim was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Fred Lundy and Susan (Beck) Cress, whose love and guidance helped shape the man he became. The values they instilled in Tim stayed with him throughout his life, and he held their memory close to his heart.

    Who Was Timothy F. Lundy?

Tim is survived by two devoted brothers: Doug Lundy of Tiffin, and Joe Lundy (Jami) of Galloway, Ohio. He was a caring and thoughtful uncle to his nieces and nephews, who brought him immense joy and pride. Although he did not have children of his own, Tim’s love for his family ran deep, and he cherished the role of uncle, mentor, and friend.

Tim was known for his gentle demeanor, quiet wisdom, and unwavering sense of loyalty. He was a man of few words, but his actions spoke volumes. Whether it was attending family gatherings, helping a neighbor in need, or simply offering support during tough times, Tim’s steady presence made a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. He had a unique ability to make others feel seen and appreciated through small, meaningful acts of kindness.

    Final Moments and Reflection

Tim’s life was marked by simple pleasures. He found peace in quiet moments, whether it was sitting on the porch during a warm summer evening, working on small projects, or enjoying music and stories with family and friends. Though reserved by nature, Tim had a dry wit and a subtle sense of humor that brightened any conversation.

His absence leaves a quiet void that will be felt by all who loved him. Although he may have preferred a life away from the spotlight, Tim’s impact on those around him was profound and enduring.

    Service Information

A private family memorial will be held at a later date to honor Tim’s life and legacy. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations in Tim’s memory to a local charity of your choice or to Mercy Health – Tiffin Hospital, whose staff provided Tim with care and compassion in his final days.

    Final Tribute

As we say goodbye, we remember Timothy F. Lundy not only for the years he lived but for the steady presence and gentle heart he brought into the world. May he rest in peace, reunited with his parents and forever in the hearts of those he left behind.
