Pumphrey explained that only a few hospitals in the country have the specialized teams required for the procedure, known as Complex Airway Teams. The couple has been in contact with these hospitals but has yet to secure an appointment.
“The narrowing is about two cm below his vocal cords, which makes it especially complex and difficult to treat,” Pumphrey said. “We need urgent help. This surgery is crucial for saving Dalton’s life.”
