Aria Lawrence Andrews, South Carolina Death and Obituary – The community of Andrews, South Carolina, is mourning the tragic loss of 24-year-old Aria Lawrence, who was killed in a three-vehicle collision in rural Berkeley County on Thursday, October 24, 2025. The fatal crash occurred on U.S. Highway 17A near Peartree Lane, an area often noted for its heavy afternoon traffic and limited visibility.

    Details of the Accident

According to reports from the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 4:30 p.m. when Lawrence, driving a Chevrolet Malibu, was heading northbound on U.S. 17A. Investigators believe her vehicle sideswiped a southbound Ford pickup truck, which caused her to lose control. Moments later, her Malibu collided head-on with a semi-truck that had been traveling behind the pickup.

Emergency responders from the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office, EMS, and fire departments quickly arrived at the scene. Despite their efforts, Lawrence was pronounced dead at the scene due to the severe impact of the collision. The drivers of the Ford pickup and the semi-truck were not injured in the incident.

The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office formally identified the victim as Aria Lawrence on October 26, 2025. Authorities stated that Lawrence was a resident of Andrews, South Carolina, and was known to her community as a kind and ambitious young woman.

    Ongoing Investigation

The South Carolina Highway Patrol (SCHP) continues to investigate the cause of the crash. Preliminary findings suggest that speed and road conditions may have played a role, though officials have not released final conclusions. Troopers are analyzing skid marks, vehicle damage, and witness statements to determine the precise chain of events that led to the fatal collision.

Law enforcement has also emphasized the importance of road safety and driver attentiveness, especially along rural stretches of U.S. 17A, where traffic accidents have occurred in the past. The investigation remains active, and updates are expected once a full report is finalized.

    Community Mourning and Funeral Arrangements

News of Lawrence’s death has deeply affected family members, friends, and neighbors in Andrews and the greater Georgetown County area. Many have expressed their condolences and shared memories of Aria online, remembering her for her bright spirit, compassion, and strong ties to her community.

Funeral arrangements for Aria Lawrence are being handled by Henryhand Funeral Home, a well-known local establishment serving the Andrews area. The family is expected to announce details regarding visitation and funeral services in the coming days.

The sudden and heartbreaking loss of such a young life serves as a reminder of the fragility of life and the importance of caution on the roadways.
