Four Dead, Ten Injured in Stockton Shooting
Stockton, CA – A family gathering in Stockton turned tragic Saturday evening when a shooting at a banquet hall left four people dead and ten wounded, according to the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office.
Among the victims were both children and adults, stated spokesperson Heather Brent. Law enforcement believes the incident may have been targeted.
District Attorney Ron Freitas urged the public to come forward with any information and called on the suspect to surrender.
The shooting took place around 6 p.m. at a banquet hall in Stockton, a city of roughly 320,000 people.
