Proof of citizenship for voting? It’s about time we secured our elections. With the radical Left pushing for open borders, these measures are vital to protecting the integrity of the ballot box.

    Key Takeaways:

    • Several states are pushing for proof-of-citizenship requirements for voting.
    • This comes as Trump and other Republicans have raised concerns about non-citizens voting.
    • Democrats and liberal groups are predictably crying foul, claiming it will disenfranchise voters.

    The Left’s Fear-Mongering About Voting

Democrats are up in arms about states like South Dakota and Utah passing laws requiring proof of citizenship to vote in all elections. They claim it’s a new Jim Crow, designed to suppress minority votes. Give me a break!

These are the same people who want to let anyone and everyone into the country, legal or not. They’re doing everything they can to make voter ID laws seem unfair and discriminatory. Remember when Stacey Abrams refused to accept the results of the Georgia gubernatorial election?

They call it “voter suppression,” but it’s really about preventing fraud. The left’s rhetoric is aimed at weakening our election system for their own  political gain. We must ask, how can our elections be fair if non-citizens are allowed to vote?

Common Sense Prevails: States Take Action

The good news is that some states aren’t buying the Left’s propaganda. South Dakota and Utah just approved laws that create a two-tiered voting system.

Those who prove their citizenship can vote in all elections. Those who don’t can only vote in federal elections.

Michigan is pushing a ballot initiative, spurred by the case of a Chinese student caught illegally registering to vote, gathering 750,000 signatures. It aims to amend the state constitution. Florida is even looking into verifying voter citizenship through driver’s license records.

    The Future of American Elections

The battle over election integrity is far from over. The Left will continue to fight tooth and nail against any measures that make it harder for them to cheat. We need to stand firm and demand that our elections be secure.

The stakes are high. If we don’t protect the integrity of our elections, we risk losing our country.

Requiring proof of citizenship is a simple, common-sense step that every state should take. We need to push back against the Left’s lies and demand that our elected officials put the interests of American citizens first.

The SAVE America Act, stalled by Democrats in the Senate, would require documentary proof of citizenship to register to vote. It’s essential that we elect leaders who will prioritize election security.

Why is it so controversial to simply ask people to prove they are citizens before they vote in our elections?
