British far-right activist Tommy Robinson — real name Stephen Yaxley-Lennon — has been released on bail following his arrest for an alleged assault at St Pancras train station in London.

    Arrest at Luton Airport

The 42-year-old was taken into custody on Monday evening at Luton Airport, after returning from Faro, Portugal. Authorities say he had left the UK for Tenerife just hours after the alleged incident took place on July 28.

British Transport Police (BTP) confirmed the arrest in a statement:

“The man had been wanted for questioning after leaving the country… He was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH) and will now be taken to custody for questioning.”

    Video Footage Sparks Investigation

A widely circulated video on social media showed Robinson at the scene of the incident, pacing near an individual who appeared to be injured and lying on the floor at St Pancras station. Moments later, Robinson was seen walking down a staircase and leaving the area.

    Victim’s Condition

The injured man was taken to the hospital and treated for serious injuries. He has since been discharged as of last Wednesday, according to police.

    Ongoing Investigation

Police say the investigation remains active, and Robinson has not been charged at this time. He will continue to be monitored while out on bail, pending further inquiries.

Robinson is a controversial figure, known for his anti-Islam views and previous run-ins with the law, including contempt of court convictions and public order offenses.
