    Shane Roberts McVey Aberdeen, Maryland Accident, Death –  On Friday evening, September 26, 2025, a tragic two-vehicle collision occurred in Greenville County, South Carolina, resulting in multiple injuries and the death of a Maryland man. The Greenville County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol responded to the scene at approximately 5:00 p.m. in the 4100 block of White Horse Road, near Highway 123.

    Authorities confirmed that one of the passengers involved in the collision, Shane Roberts McVey of Aberdeen, Maryland, suffered critical injuries. Emergency responders quickly transported him to Prisma Health–Greenville Memorial Hospital, where he remained under medical care. Sadly, despite efforts to save his life, McVey succumbed to his injuries the following day, Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 12:33 p.m.

    According to the Greenville County Coroner’s Office, the official cause of death was determined to be multiple blunt force injuries sustained during the collision. The manner of death has been ruled as accidental.

    The accident reportedly involved two vehicles, though full details regarding the circumstances leading up to the collision have not yet been released. Investigators with the South Carolina Highway Patrol are working in coordination with the Greenville County Coroner’s Office to determine the factors contributing to the crash.
